Anteon makes a deal for Integrated Management Services

Anteon International Corp. has acquired Integrated Management Services Inc. in a $29 million cash deal.

Anteon International Corp. has acquired Integrated Management Services Inc. in a $29 million cash deal, Anteon officials said today. Anteon also will pay another $2 million if other certain milestones are met.

With the acquisition, Anteon is picking up capabilities in information security and assurance, infrastructure security and enterprise IT architecture.

"This transaction strengthens our capabilities and allows us to deliver even more comprehensive solutions to our customers," said Joseph Kampf, Anteon president and chief executive officer.

IMSI of Arlington, Va., has about $30 million in annual revenue and will add between $10 million and $11 million to Anteon's 2004 revenue, Anteon said. For 2004, Anteon officials said they expect annual revenue to be between $1.245 billion and $1.271 billion.

Anteon of Fairfax, Va., was No. 19 on Washington Technology's 2004 Top 100 list, which measures federal contracting revenue.
