Army picks Object Sciences team for intel support

Object Sciences Corp. won a three-year $89 million prime contract to provide support for the Army Information and Security Command.

Object Sciences Corp. won a three-year $89 million prime contract to provide support for the Army Information and Security Command and the Information Dominance Center, the company said today.

The contract is for one year with two option years. OSC will lead a team of 14 companies in providing support for five intelligence mission areas of INSCOM and the Information Dominance Center, including counterterrorism, counterintelligence and information operations. The led team will maintain the Information Dominance Center's current infrastructure while it delivers new technologies and processes. Work will be done at Fort Belvoir, Va., and at various locations around the world.

"Past disasters, current missions and future threats emphasize the critical requirement to fuse and visualize multi-source, multimodal data," said Russell Richardson, chief executive officer and president of OSC.

Based in Alexandria, Va., OSC is a privately held company that provides IT solutions to federal and commercial customers.
