IRS puts out $3 billion RFP

The Internal Revenue Service issued a request for proposals for its Total Information Processing Support Services-3 contract, worth up to $3 billion.

The Internal Revenue Service issued a request for proposals for its Total Information Processing Support Services-3 contract, worth up to $3 billion.

Tipss-3 will provide systems support, security and business services for the Treasury Department and its agencies. The contract, which is for one year with four one-year options, is a continuation of the IT services provided by previous Treasury IT support services contracts. Proposals are due by Aug. 18. IRS will award the contract in 2005.
