Anteon among three to land Navy contracts

Anteon International Corp. was one of three companies receiving contracts from the Navy Fleet Technical Support Center to provide engineering services.

Anteon International Corp., Fairfax, Va., was one of three companies receiving contracts from the Navy Fleet Technical Support Center to provide engineering services, the company said.

Anteon's 10-year contract is worth $254 million, if all options are exercised.

Amsec LLC, Virginia Beach, Va., and EG&G Technical Services Inc., Gaithersburg, Md., also received contracts. The combined value is $838 million, according to market research firm Input Inc. of Reston, Va.

The companies will provide services to support platform and onboard system modernization activities for Navy, Coast Guard and Military Sealift Command vessels. The work will be performed at ports within the continental United States and at locations worldwide.

With 2003 revenue of $1 billion, Anteon ranked No. 19 on Washington Technology's 2004 Top 100 list, which measures federal contracting revenue.
