Supercomputing made easy

Integrators looking for a fast and easy way to deliver supercomputing power to small and midsize agencies have a new solution to consider. IBM Corp. in Armonk, N.Y., has introduced prepackaged, high-performance computing clusters aimed at organizations with limited staffs and budgets, but seemingly unlimited need for computing resources.

IBM's Departmental Supercomputing Solutions are pre-tested cluster configurations with built-in management capabilities that let agencies rapidly deploy their own supercomputing applications.
