Brief: FISMA compliance module

Managed security services firm NetSec Inc., Herndon, Va., is rolling out a reporting module to help agencies comply with the Federal Information Security Management Act.

The software is designed to streamline the manual, paper-based procedures that agencies perform for certification, accreditation and plan of action and milestones reporting. Agencies can collect information about their systems in a Web-based portal that will automatically generate reports.

The module will be available as part of NetSec's managed services or on a standalone basis.
