According to a report released earlier this month, the department's top 10 prime contractors for 2003 and the value of their contracts are:
1.Lockheed Martin Corp., $21.9 billion
2.Boeing Co., $17.3 billion
3.Northrop Grumman Corp., $11.1 billion
4.General Dynamics Corp., $8.2 billion
5.Raytheon Co., $7.9 billion
6.United Technologies Corp., $4.5 billion
7.Halliburton Co., $3.9 billion
8.General Electric Co., $2.8 billion
9.Science Applications International Corp., $2.6 billion
10. Computer Sciences Corp., $2.5 billion
Among the top 10 contractors, Halliburton made the biggest leap, moving up from No. 37 in 2002. CSC jumped up from No. 21 in 2002.
