GSA's Miller to join Robbins-Gioia

Emory Miller, former director of professional development at GSA, will join Robbins-Gioia LLC as senior vice president for corporate development.

Emory Miller, the General Services Administration's respected former director of professional development, today said he will join Robbins-Gioia LLC of Alexandria, Va., as senior vice president for corporate development.

Miller retired from GSA on Jan. 3 and will take up his new duties March 1. In the meantime, he said, "I'm at the beach, believe it or not. It's the coldest time I've ever spent on the Outer Banks."

In his nearly four-decade government career, Miller fostered many federal careers. He helped to set up the CIO University as well as the Trail Boss, SmartBuy, and Strategic and Tactical Advocates for Results programs.

Miller said his deputy, Gary Winters, is the interim director of professional development at GSA.
