N.C. birth registration system

	The North Carolina Health and Human Services Department is preparing a request for proposals for a computerized, Web-based electronic birth registration system. The RFP is expected late this year or in early 2004. The contractor will provide a solution for registration, printing, certification, amendments, correspondence, query processing, inventory control, searching, record matching, issuance, file generation and export capabilities, and accounting and fee tracking.
