AMS, Infoglide make data integration alliance

American Management Systems Inc. and Infoglide Software Corp. have formed an alliance to sell services and software to help intelligence and law enforcement agencies.

American Management Systems Inc. and Infoglide Software Corp. have formed a strategic alliance to sell services and software to help intelligence and law enforcement agencies compile and analyze intelligence in the global war on terrorism, the companies announced this week.

Under the two-year agreement, the companies will offer consulting services from Fairfax, Va.-based AMS and targeting, risk assessment and remote search software from Infoglide of Austin, Texas. The target market is federal, state and local intelligence and law enforcement agencies in the United States, United Kingdom and Canada.

AMS will be the only certified integrator offering Infoglide's enterprise software, Bladeworks, to select agencies and governments. The company also will provide program management, systems integration and integration expertise in building Infoglide's technology into customized solutions for AMS customers.

Bladeworks integrates real-time transactional data with remote and disparate historical data. Capabilities include automatic searches of multiple remote, disparate databases for information on potential threats; analysis of thousands of records per second for potential relationships; and support of detailed expert analysis for relevant connections among people, places and things.

The solution is intended to assist government officials, who receive intelligence from several sources, to more clearly evaluate and act on the information.
