More ITES winners announced

	Five companies have spots on the Army's $500 million Information Technology Enterprise Solutions contract for enterprise mission support services.

Five companies have spots on the Army's $500 million Information Technology Enterprise Solutions contract for enterprise mission support services.

The winners are Northrop Grumman Corp., Los Angeles; IBM Corp., Armonk, N.Y.; Lockheed Martin Corp., Bethesda, Md.; QSS Inc., Lanham, Md.; and NCI Information Systems Inc., McLean, Va. The contract is for three years with two two-year options.

This phase of ITES supports the Army enterprise infrastructure and infostructure goals with IT services and solutions. Services include program management, enterprise IT policy and planning, enterprise design, integration and consolidation, information assurance, business process re-engineering and requirements analysis, among others.

Services also are needed to analyze requirements, develop and implement recommended solutions and operate and maintain legacy systems.

The contractors are expected to use as preferred suppliers the companies that won spots on the product phase of ITES. Those companies include Dell Inc. of Round Rock, Texas; GTSI Corp. of Chantilly, Va.; Hewlett-Packard Co. of Palo Alto, Calif.; and Lockheed Martin.
