ATS wins $9.1 Federal Housing contract

Advanced Technology Systems Inc., McLean, Va., won a $9.1 million contract to provide managed information technology infrastructure operations and services to the Federal Housing Finance Board, the company announced today.

Advanced Technology Systems Inc., McLean, Va., won a $9.1 million contract to provide managed information technology infrastructure operations and services to the Federal Housing Finance Board, the company announced today.

Under the six year contract, ATS will first migrate the board's IT infrastructure and operations to an off-agency facility in Sterling, Va., hosted by Verio, a subsidiary of NTT Communications Corp., Tokyo. ATS will also replace or upgrade the agency's workstations.

Following the initial deployment, ATS will then manage these services.

ATS also announced that this win marks a strategic partnership that ATS has formed with Verio to offer managed network services to federal, state and local government agencies.

ATS will also be supported by network and hardware maintenance provider TFE Technology Holdings LLC, Bountiful, Utah.

Founded in 1978, ATS specializes in enterprise solutions and infrastructure support for the government market. With 950 employees, the company has yearly revenue of $100 million. Government customers include the Navy, the Housing and Urban Development Department and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.
