Army issues HR contract to SI International

The Army Military Personnel Services Center has awarded a human resources support contract to SI International Inc. of Reston, Va.

SI International will process personnel information, manage automated personnel information systems, and perform system enhancements for several Defense agencies, including the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Joint Chiefs of Staff, Army Secretary and Army headquarters, and National Guard Bureau, according to a company release.

The contract has a two-month base period and includes four, one-year options. If all options are exercised, the contract would be worth $13 million.
