Madison wins $14 million Air Force work

Madison Research Corp., Huntsville, Ala., won a $14 million contract to support the Air Armament Center at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., the Defense Department announced last week.

Under the two-year, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract, Madison Research will support the Air Force center in developing, producing and purchasing weapon systems and other pieces of equipment.

The Air Armament Center is responsible for developing and sustaining all air-delivered weapons the Air Force uses. Delivery orders placed against this contract will support sales of equipment to U.S. allies such as Australia, Egypt, Israel, Korea, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia and Taiwan.

Founded in 1986, Madison Research specializes in providing engineering and information technology services to federal agencies. The company employs approximately 650 people.
