Brief: Automated welfare system

The Hawaii Department of Human Services in Honolulu needs a replacement or upgrade to its automated welfare system. The system works with public assistance programs, such as Aid to Families with Dependent Children, food stamps, Medi-Cal, foster care, refugee assistance and county medical service programs. The project is worth $1 million, and a request for proposals is expected in April.
