Agency: Naval Supply Systems Command

Value: $1.8 billion over 10 years

RFP: Expected by the end of 2002

Purpose: Contractors will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including material receipt, inspection, quality control and technical performance standards and results. The contract likely will be awarded to several companies.

Current contract holders: This contract is a follow-on to contracts held by Anteon Corp., EG&G Technical Services Inc. and Day and Zimmerman.

 

Logistics and Readiness Center Weapon Systems Support Services

Agency: Army Communications Electronics Command

Value: $750 millionRFP: December 2003

Purpose: Weapons systems services to aid in life-cycle support. In addition to logistics, other services include software development, education and training and operations support. This will be a multiple-award contract.

Current contract holders: Blackhawk Management Corp. and Information Systems Support Inc.

 

Arnold Engineering Development Center Support Contract

Agency: Air Force

Value: $735 millionRFP: January 2003

Purpose: Provide operations, maintenance, information management and support of Arnold Engineering Development Center at the Arnold Air Force Base in Tullahoma, Tenn. Services include logistics, central computer support, base support and maintenance, utilities and purchasing.

and Related Services


Agency: Army Aviation Center

Value: $450 millionRFP: February 2003

Purpose: Aircraft maintenance and related services in support of the aviation center, its satellite activities and the Army Aviation Technical Test Center. Services include aircraft maintenance, modification and logistics support.

Current contract holder: DynCorp

 

Targets and Countermeasures Program

Agency: Missile Defense Agency

Value: $5 billionRFP: Expected January 2003

Purpose: The contract covers systems engineering, program management, new product design, development and testing, integration, acquisition, target launch operations and logistics support across all MDA targets and payloads.
