Vredenburg wins work with NSA, NARA, others

Vredenburg Co. announced eight contracts wins, including work with the National Archives and Records Administration and two jobs with the National Security Agency.

Vredenburg Co. announced eight new contracts wins Oct. 28, including $8 million worth of work with the National Archives and Records Administration and two jobs with the National Security Agency totaling $4.2 million. The contracts have been awarded over the past two months.



The wins include:


*Maryland Register of Wills. A five year contract worth $2 million to support the register of wills system, which is deployed in all 23 counties in Maryland and in Baltimore. The contract is a follow-on to earlier work.


*National Archives and Records Administration. A five-year contract valued at $8.3 million to support the Archives Declassification Review and Redaction System and the Unclassified Redaction Tracking System. The company also will roll out the systems to four additional sites.


*The National Security Agency. A $3 million dollar contract awarded to Vredenburg and Honeywell International, Inc., Morristown, N.J., to develop and support the processing of NSA security documents. The company was also awarded $1.2 million to develop workflow enhancements to the automated document review system, originally developed by Vredenburg.


*Army Intelligence and Security Command. A $1.3 million contract was awarded to the team of Vredenburg and Lear Siegler Services, Inc., Annapolis, Md., to design and build a document exploitation platform based on Vredenburg's HighView solution to capture, recognize, translate and share intelligence gathered by Army field units.


In addition to these wins, the company also was awarded work of undisclosed amounts with the Army Research Laboratory, the Environmental Protection Agency, the National Park Service and the IRS.
