E-gov training

National Defense University's
Information Resources Management College has introduced a new e-government certificate
program. Geared to providing information needed to help agencies comply with the Office of
Management and Budget's e-gov initiatives, the program is open to information managers and
contractors directly involved in Defense Department work. The program offers both
on-campus and distributed courses.
The Defense Activity for Non
Traditional Education Support program has announced it will reimburse examination costs
for security certifications offered by the International Information Systems Security
Certification Consortium. Military personnel are eligible, as are members of the Army
Reserve, Army National Guard and the Air Force Reserve. More information can be found at
