Anteon wins $5.4 million Navy Aegis support work

Anteon International Corp. has been awarded a one-year task order to provide system support services to the Navy's Aegis destroyer shipbuilding program.

Anteon International Corp., Fairfax, Va., has been awarded a one-year task order worth $5.4 million to provide system support services to the Navy's Aegis destroyer shipbuilding program, the company announced Sept. 12.

Under terms of this order, Anteon will provide system design, engineering and integration services, testing and evaluation, production engineering, integrated logistics support and life-cycle support.

The Aegis combat system is a ship-based missile detection, tracking and elimination system, capable of simultaneously tracking multiple anti-air, anti-surface and anti-submarine missiles.
