Titan wins AF satellite communications support contract

Under the $29.9 million contract, Titan Corp. will provide technical and acquisition management support to a number programs.

Titan Corp. won a $29.9 million contract from the Air Force to support military satellite communications programs, the company announced Aug. 27.

Under the contract, Titan of San Diego will provide technical and acquisition management support to a number programs, including the Airborne Integrated Terminal Group, the Multi-band Multi-Mission Radio, Global Broadcast Service and the Defense Satellite Communications System.

Titan will provide management and administrative support to the Air Force's Electronic Systems in areas such as business management, financial management, training, logistics configuration control and data management.

Titan Corp. is a provider of information and communications systems solutions and services to the Department of Defense, intelligence agencies and other federal government customers. The company has 11,000 employees and annual revenue of $1.4 billion.
