SAIC buys Fusive.com

Science Applications International Corp.'s Global Telecommunications Group has acquired selected assets of Fusive.com Corp., a company that develops advanced customer care products combining the Web, voice and data communications. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The core capabilities that SAIC of San Diego acquired from Fusive.com of Birmingham, Ala., will allow SAIC to expand its focus on next-generation customer care, the company said.

The acquired assets include specification and development of complex solutions, such as Web collaboration, enterprise integration middleware with workflow and customer relationship management. SAIC's Global Telecommunications Group acquired Fusive.com's resources in Atlanta, Birmingham, Ala., Deerfield Beach, Fla., New York and Phoenix.
