Mirck-Suren of the Schiphol Group uses a smart card to demonstrate the company's automatic border passage system; Systems Manager Ahmed Kalala displays a smart card created with the IBM Secure Identity Solutions for e-business; an IBM Thinkpad with panel displays developed by Xybernaut Corp. that can guide rescue workers by map or instructions; a screen capture shows the creation of smart cards with biometric features using software developed by Lenel Systems International Inc.; a template that can search criminal records through major databases from a police cruiser.
