An RFP is expected to be released in the third quarter. The Northeast Coalition of States is planning to release an RFP for electronic benefits transfer services by the end of the year. The coalition is comprised of New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Maine. The coalition has released an RFI to solicit information from vendors. Harford County, Md., plans to replace its emergency radio system to bring more frequencies and new equipment to its fire and police services. A procurement is expected by the fourth quarter of this year. Harford County has $8.5 million budgeted in 2002-03 for the project.
