ProLease purchases D.M. Data

ProLease Corp. announced it acquired D.M. Data Corp. of Marlton, N.J. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

ProLease Corp. of Rockville, Md., announced April 15 it acquired D.M. Data Corp. of Marlton, N.J. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

ProLease is a business process outsourcing company with annual revenue of more than $500 million. The company offers information technology services, employer and call center solutions and medical solutions.

Systems integrator D.M. Data provides public safety IT and corrections management. D.M. Data works with partners such as IBM Corp., Sun Microsystems Inc. and Dell Computer Corp. to provide complete solutions.

With ProLease's resources, financial support and technology expertise, D.M. Data will be able to expand its public safety solutions, said company President Douglas Dorfman.

The acquisition of D.M. Data will bring new technology expertise and experienced staff to ProLease, said company President and Chief Executive Officer Bala Ramamoorthy.

"D.M. Data is uniquely positioned to provide leading edge solutions to the growing public safety sector," Ramamoorthy said.
