TruSecure buys Three Pillars

TruSecure Corp. of Herndon, Va., a provider of information security services to government and commercial customers, has acquired Three Pillars Inc., a Norcross, Ga., provider of security outsourcing, monitoring and intelligence services.

TruSecure Corp. of Herndon, Va., a provider of information security services to government and commercial customers, has acquired Three Pillars Inc., a Norcross, Ga., provider of security outsourcing, monitoring and intelligence services. Financial terms were not disclosed.

TruSecure's services include development of security architecture and policies and implementation of preventative risk management programs. It publishes the monthly magazine Information Security. With the acquisition, it adds management, maintenance and real-time monitoring of critical security infrastructure.

Three Pillars executives Thomas Joseph, Carl Humes and Jim DeBald will join TruSecure as senior vice president of managed services, vice president of managed services operations, and vice president of channels worldwide, respectively.
