Air Force taps RSIS

RS Information Systems Inc. won a contract to provide systems management and engineering services to the Space Warfare Center of the Air Force Space Command.

RS Information Systems Inc. won a contract to provide systems management and engineering services to the Space Warfare Center of the Air Force Space Command.

The one-year contract has seven one-year options and is potentially worth $88 million, the McLean, Va.-based company said. The work will be carried out at Schriever Air Force Base near Colorado Springs, Colo.

RSIS will work with 16 subcontractors on the project to provide engineering and systems expertise for the integration of advanced weapons platforms and special test facilities.

The contract also calls for technical expertise for emerging technologies and systems in intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.
