BTG Wins U.S. Courts Contract
BTG Inc. has won a 10-year contract from the U.S. Courts for software and integration services that will support the federal court system.
BTG Inc. has won a 10-year contract from the U.S. Courts for software and integration services that will support the federal court system, the company announced Nov. 26.
Under the contract, Fairfax, Va.-based BTG will provide integrated server systems and software that will process the full range of the judiciary automated application systems for more than 400 federal court sites under the U.S. Courts' Judiciary Multiprocessor Application Platform program.
The value of the award is being withheld at the customer's request, said John Graham, BTG's group vice president of corporate affairs.
BTG's teaming partners on the JMAP program are Compaq Computer Corp. of Houston and Integration Technologies Group Inc. of Falls Church, Va., said company officials.
The contract has a base period of one year with nine option years. The JMAP program is a follow-on to a 1993 U.S. Courts contract held by BTG that is in its ninth and final year.
The company also holds a 10-year, $30 million database management systems replacement program with the U.S. courts that was awarded in 1997.
BTG is an information systems and technical services firm that provides solutions to complex information technology issues for government and commercial clients. The company's core services include information technology, communications and logistics, management support system and enterprise support systems services.
The company signed an agreement in September to be acquired by Titan Corp. of San Diego.
