Science Applications International Corp. won a $596 million task order to provide the Navy's Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command with systems engineering and integration technical support.

Science Applications International Corp. won a $596 million task order to provide the Navy's Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command with systems engineering and integration technical support.

The task order was awarded through the General Services Administration's Millennia contract. The order is for a year with an option for another four.

SAIC, San Diego, will provide the command with technical engineering support, such as systems architecture definition, engineering and design; configuration control; pre- and post-installation testing; systems integration and information security.

Business areas include command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance; information technology; targeting; and information operations and warfare.
