The contract is worth more than $50 million if all options are exercised. Titan and Anteon will compete for specific task orders over the life of the 42-month contract.

Under the contract, the companies will provide services to the Defense Department and other government agencies worldwide in several areas, including combat systems equipment; hull, mechanical and electrical equipment; and facility support systems.

In a separate award, the Navy selected Titan as the sole provider on a five-year, $10.2 million contract to provide engineering, fabrication, testing, installation and other support services to the Surface Undersea Warfare Department.

The department is responsible for a variety of sonar, signal processing, anti-submarine and other undersea warfare combat systems.
