STG Wins EPA Work

STG Inc. won a $70 million contract to provide telecommunications services to the Environmental Protection Agency. Under the five-year National Telecommunications Support Contract, STG of Fairfax, Va., will support EPA operations in Washington and regional offices in several states.

STG Inc. won a $70 million contract to provide telecommunications services to the Environmental Protection Agency. Under the five-year National Telecommunications Support Contract, STG of Fairfax, Va., will support EPA operations in Washington and regional offices in several states.

The company will install, operate and maintain telecommunications systems, design networks, operate voice over IP services and support local area networks and computer systems.

The deal also calls for STG to operate the Federal Telecommunications Service business office, the National Video Technology Lab, the National Voice and FTS help desks, and the Voice/Video Technology and Engineering Center, which are located at EPA's National Communications Center, Research Triangle Park, N.C.
