EXE Lands Dutch Contract

The Royal Netherlands Air Force has awarded Dallas-based EXE Technologies Inc. a $37 million contract to provide the company's fulfillment, warehousing and distribution software as a significant component of a project to transform its logistics operations.

The Royal Netherlands Air Force has awarded Dallas-based EXE Technologies Inc. a $37 million contract to provide the company's fulfillment, warehousing and distribution software as a significant component of a project to transform its logistics operations.

Dutch systems integrator CMG plc, based in London and Hoofddorp, the Netherlands, is working with EXE and the Dutch Air Force on the Hermes project to improve the overall logistics strategy of the service by automating critical material handling and distribution processes.

The EXE warehouse management system will be installed at the Air Force's Logistics Center at Woensdrecht Airbase and the Medical Logistics Center of the Defense Inter-Service Command in Heerenveen.
