SAIC Acquires Security Firm

Science Applications International Corp. of San Diego has acquired Bunyard Enterprises Inc. of Alexandria, Va. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Science Applications International Corp. of San Diego has acquired Bunyard Enterprises Inc. of Alexandria, Va. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

BEI provides consulting to defense, aerospace, engineering and research organizations. It has 15 employees and had $2.8 million in 1999 revenue.

The company will become a division of SAIC's National Security Studies and Strategies Group, SAIC officials said. BEI President and Chief Executive Officer J. Max Bunyard will work for SAIC on a part-time basis, while BEI Executive Vice President Charles Green will be assigned a leadership role in the new division.
