NOV. 28 ? Swan International Inc., a provider of active application and business-level management tools, has entered a strategic partnership with Getronics Government Solutions LLC, formerly Wang Government Services Inc., to pursue opportunities in the federal government.

Swan's primary offering to the U.S. government is Vision64, software that helps manage the applications on servers, desktops and laptops throughout a distributed enterprise.

Swan International of Nashua, N.H., is part of Swan S.A., based in Villebon, France. By joining forces with Getronics Government Solutions of McLean, Va., Swan is connected with one of the contractors chosen by the General Services Administration for its Seat Management contract and by NASA for its Outsourcing Desktop Initiative contract, two of the federal government's major seat management programs.

The agreement also strengthens Swan's strategy of developing indirect sales opportunities through alliances with high-profile partners. In addition to its agreement with Getronics, Swan in the last six months has entered similar agreements with Mitsui and Arche Groupe Siemens, among others.
