The office also has 11 regional support commands.SRA will provide services including fielding systems, hardware and software installation and maintenance, documentation, training and help desk. SRA's teammates include Anteon Corp., Digicon Corp. and Logistics Management Resources Inc."Our team brings a complementary blend of technical and domain expertise gained from years of performance at the Army Reserve Command," said David Kriegman, SRA senior vice president of defense information systems.XXXSPLITXXX-Army officials at Fort Drum in New York are conducting an A-76 study to determine if the management and operation of the base's IT systems should be turned over to the private sector. An A-76 is the Office of Management and Budget's guideline for conducting the study.Fort Drum will study whether it is better to keep IT maintenance, operations and support service in-house or instead hire a contractor to provide the services. If a contract is awarded, it likely will be for five years, Army officials said.XXXSPLITXXX-Teams led by Computer Sciences Corp., Science Applications International Corp. and Sparta Inc. have won the Air Force's Engineering, Analysis, Design and Development II contract. The three companies will not compete with each other to win work under the $495 million, five-year contract.The Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center will use the contract for services such as developmental engineering, systems engineering, modeling, simulation and analysis and acquisition security.Work will be performed in Los Angeles, Colorado Springs, Colo., Albuquerque, N.M., Washington and other locations around the country.The contract will be used by Space and Missile Command, Air Force Space Command, the Air Force Research Laboratory and the National Security Space Architect.
