Hansen Pairs With Unisys on State, Local Solutions

AUG. 1 ? Software manufacturer Hansen Information Technologies Inc. of Sacramento, Calif., said it has formed a strategic alliance with systems integrator Unisys Corp. of Blue Bell, Pa., in which the two companies will provide enterprise solutions for state and local governments.

AUG. 1 ? Software manufacturer Hansen Information Technologies Inc. of Sacramento, Calif., said it has formed a strategic alliance with systems integrator Unisys Corp. of Blue Bell, Pa., in which the two companies will provide enterprise solutions for state and local governments.


The agreement, announced July 31, will make Hansen's complete line of products and services available to Unisys customers and prospects in the public sector.


"This relationship creates a synergistic effect between our companies' sales and marketing organizations to increase the overall market share for both companies," said Robert Wyllie, national sales director for Hansen. "Having Unisys as a partner reaffirms our position as the industry leader in the marketplace and provides an exciting potential for growth."


Hansen's software suite includes solutions for asset management and work order management in public utilities, including asset specific modules for water, sewer, storm water, street and transportation departments and park districts.


Hansen also provides solutions for constructing and planning permits, use permits, business licensing, code enforcement, tax assessment and administration, consumption and tax billing, and call center automation for complaint tracking and call logging.


Founded in 1983, Hansen has licensed more than 60,000 of its products to approximately 200 state and local governments in the United States and overseas. Among its clients are municipal departments and city governments in Atlanta, Chicago, New York and Washington.
