The New Mexico General Services DivisionÕs Office of Communication will request proposals from qualified firms for PBX maintenance services. This re-bid request for proposals is expected to take place late in the third quarter of this year. The Office of Communications is an organization within the GSD Information Systems Division responsible for providing telecommunications support to the various state and local government agencies in New Mexico.

The Office of Communications is an organization within the GSD Information Systems Division responsible for providing telecommunications support to the various state and local government agencies in New Mexico. , Structures Design and Construction Division, is seeking a vendor to implement the recommendations from a systems consolidation study. The RFP could possibly be released in September. The division manages the state's bridge infrastructure, which requires vast amounts of data. The division is developing several computer systems to control the collection, use of and distribution of that data.The division has made a commitment to establish a Global Information Systems Architecture. Since that initiative requires substantial resources, the division first contracted with a consultant to conduct a systems analysis study. The Transportation Department will release this RFP, seeking a vendor for implementing the recommendations of the study. will contract with a vendor to implement or complete the rollout of the State Automated Child Welfare Information System (SACWIS). The RFP is expected to be released in September. The Department of Health and Family Services has a system to collect out-of-home care and adoption information in Human Services Reporting System modules for Children in Substitute Care and Adoption. County, district, regional and home office locations report to the state on clients they serve, the services delivered and expenditures. The state has used the Human Services Reporting System module for Children in Substitute Care to collect substitute care information for the voluntary reporting system.
