Universal Systems & Technology Inc. in Fairfax, Va., won a multimillion contract from the Federal Aviation Administration's Broad Information Technology Services solicitation. The five-year contract covers information technology services ranging from network help-desk operations to investment analyses of proposed IT programs. Unitech teammates include Bloodworth Integrated Technology, Computer Systems Integrators, Conwal Inc., ITS Services Inc., JIL Information Systems, NCI Information Systems Inc., Ptech Inc., Quadratek and Software Associates Inc.XXXSPLITXXX-Integral Systems Inc., Lanham, Md., won a contract to implement a backup command and control system for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite program. The two-year contract is valued at approximately $2.9 million, with two options bringing the total potential value to $3.2 million.Integral Systems will establish the GOES Backup Acquisition, Command, and Control Station for NOAA's National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service. The new backup center will support NOAA if the GOES Command and Data Station located on Wallops Island, Va., becomes inoperative.XXXSPLITXXX-A team led by Science Applications International Corp. in McLean, Va., won a $24 million contract from the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dahlgren, Va., to provide life-cycle support for the MK 116 Anti-Submarine Warfare Control System.The system is part of the SQQ-89 Surface Ship Undersea Warfare Combat System. The cost-plus, fixed-fee, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract is for five years. The team will provide life-cycle support for software engineering, system engineering, systems integration, testing, integrated logistics and training support for the MK 116 ASWCS. The team also will support NSWC with emergent technologies in the transition to 21st-century combat systems.The SAIC team includes Ahntech of San Diego, Applied Management Corporation Inc. of Arlington, Va., EG&G Services of Dahlgren, Va., MTC Services Corp. of Chula Vista, Calif., Ocean Systems Engineering Corp. of Oceanside, Calif., Quigley & Associates of Brookville, Md., and Solutions Development Corp. of Waldorf, Md.XXXSPLITXXX-Arlington, Va.-based CACI International Inc. was awarded a five-year, cost-plus, fixed-fee, $14.3 million contract with the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dahlgren, Va., to provide AEGIS weapon system documentation services.CACI's Dahlgren office has been providing documentation support to the AEGIS program in Dahlgren since 1987. This award continues CACI's partnership with the center's Dahlgren Division and advances NSWC's "paperless ship" initiative to transition AEGIS documentation to electronic format.The AEGIS weapon system coordinates radar, weapons control programs, command and decision systems, and other tactical programs for a worldwide fleet of AEGIS cruisers and destroyers. XXXSPLITXXX-Multimax Inc., Largo, Md., won a Seat Management contract from the General Services Administration. The contract, which has a maximum value of $9 billion over 10 years, is available to all government agencies.The contract offers government agencies a new way to acquire desktop computing services to support general purpose and scientific and engineering environments. It lets the government acquire integrated services and the required components to include desktop computers, servers and associated peripherals.
