The Arizona Department of Economic Security, Office of Policy, Planning and Project Control, Phoenix, contracted with North American Morpho, Tacoma, Wash., for the design and installation, operation, training and project management of an automated fingerprint identification system. The contract, awarded Aug. 14, is valued at approximately $925,000 per year.

The District of Columbia's Department of Human Services contracted with Lockheed Martin in Washington for hardware, software, installation and technical support for a food stamps-only electronic benefits transfer system. The contract, awarded Sept. 3, is valued at $4,563,103.

The Kansas Bureau of Investigations in Topeka contracted with Printrak, Anaheim, Calif., for the installation of an automated fingerprint identification system. The contract, awarded June 25, is valued at $2,382,450.

The Massachusetts Department of Corrections in Boston contracted with The Point Group, Plymouth, Mass., for project management services for an inmate record and archiving project. The contract, awarded July 1, is valued at $200,000.

The city of New York's Financial Information Services Agency, on behalf of the Mayor's Office and the Comptroller of the city of New York, contracted with American Management Systems, Fairfax, Va., to provide a comprehensive business solution comprised of software, hardware, integration and implementations services for a citywide financial management system to be called FMS 2000. The contract, awarded April 18, is valued at $126,101,593.

The North Carolina Human Resources Department, Division of Medical Assistance, in Raleigh contracted with Consultec Inc., Atlanta, to install, modify, implement and maintain a Medicaid Decision Support System. The contract, awarded Aug. 15, is valued at $10 million.

Colorado's Larimer County, Clerk and Recorders Office, in Fort Collins, contracted with Global Election Systems, Albuquerque, N.M., for software, hardware, integration services, training and media management for a replacement of its voting system. The contract, awarded July 21, is valued at $898,712.
