Christopher Haakon was promoted to president of Autometric Inc. in Alexandria, Va. He was previously executive vice president of the company's operations and applications group.

Marc Tipermas has been named president and chief operating officer of ICF Kaiser International Inc. in Fairfax, Va. The company also announced that Kenneth Campbell will rejoin the company as an executive vice president and chief financial officer.

SRA International Inc. in Arlington, Va., promoted the following senior managers to vice presidents: Wayne Blackburn, Gene Cartier, Michael Fox, Gene Frank, Mary Lambert, Kevin O'Connor and Jeffrey Westerhoff.

Jim Litchko joined Telos Corp. in Ashburn, Va., as vice president of operations for the company's information protection services business. He was previously with Trusted Information Systems Inc. in Rockville, Md.

ViON Corp., Washington, has hired five new employees to help it pursue its federal business. Frank Blaul has joined the company as a marketing representative. Britt Heisig and Michael Vogler are both sales representatives. Bruce Bastian is a systems engineer. Will Myers has joined the company as a telemarketer.

Pam Oppenheim has joined Command Software Systems Inc., Jupiter, Fla., as product manager.

Denise Syrek has been promoted from an account manager to a senior account manager in the Fedmark division of Federal Sources Inc. in McLean, Va. The company also hired David Goodwin as a federal account manager in the Fedmark division, Jennings Selthoffer as the director of sales, Linda Rodden as the director of GSA Schedules and Meg Albus as an administrative assistant.

Federal Marketing Associates Inc. in Herndon, Va., hired Helen Ortel as the business development manager. She was previously with Government Technology Services Inc. in Chantilly, Va.

Telephonics Corp. in Farmingdale, N.Y., appointed Gary Fortmeyer as director of program management for the company's command systems division.

Keith Bodamer has been named director of development for the 1998 World Congress on Information Technology, a conference that will take place in Fairfax, Va., on June 21-24, 1998. He was previously an account manager for TRW Enterprise Solutions in Long Beach, Calif., and a senior consultant at Electronic Data Systems Corp. based in Plano, Texas.

Suresh Shenoy, vice president of Information Management Consultants Inc. of McLean, Va., was elected to the board of directors of the Association for Information and Image Management International in Silver Spring, Md.
