Centech's Network Technologies Division, Silver Spring, Md., was awarded a $50 million technical services contract with the Diplomatic Telecommunications Services Program Office of the Department of State to provide information technology support services.

SRA International Inc., Arlington, Va., was awarded the Strategic Information Systems Technical Integration Resources (SISTIR) contract by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Food and Drug Administration. SRA is one of five contractors selected to provide information management support services to the FDA. The seven-year, indefinite- delivery, indefinite-quantity contract has an estimated ceiling value of $195 million.

Analysis and Technology Inc., McLean, Va., was awarded a contract with the Federal Office of Personnel Management worth $10 million over five years. The contract continues work Analysis and Technology has performed since 1984. The company will work with OPM to develop and implement products that cover the entire scope of available training media, including web-based training.

Integrated Technologies of America Inc., Minneapolis, signed an equipment manufacturer agreement with Computer Intelligence Corp., Washington. CIC will private label and market ITAI's SecureVault and SecureFile products to the federal government. The contract is valued at over $75 million.

Network Equipment Technologies Inc., Redwood City, Calif., signed a contract with Telecommunicacoes do Ceara SA (TELECEARA), Fortaceza, Brazil, a telecommunications provider for the state of Ceara. Teleceara selected the N.E.T. IDNX multiservice bandwidth manager as the communications backbone for the region, under a three-year contract valued at $5 million. The first phase of the network, valued at $1.3 million, has been installed. The multiservice digital data network will connect a growing number of financial, business, industry, government, health and Internet service provider organizations in and around the city of Fortaleza. Teleceara serves a population of 6 million in 928 cities and 184 municipalities.

Ericsson Ltd., Stockholm, Sweden, won a contract with Advanced Info Services PCL, a subsidiary of Shinawatra Group, Thailand, to supply NMT 900 and GSM mobile systems. Ericsson will provide switching and radio base station equipment supporting expansion of both networks. The contract is valued at $100 million.
