Computer Marketplace, a reseller of computer hardware and software, is hoping that a frequent buyers program will attract government purchasing officers. Customers receive a 1 percent rebate on all General Services Administration Schedule purchases that can later be redeemed as a credit. Computer Marketplace features wares from 142 manufacturers who are listed on the schedule. However, customers can use their rebates for goods that are not listed on the schedule. If a customer purchases $100,000 worth of Compaq equipment listed on the GSA Schedule, they would receive 1,000 GSA Frequent Buyer Points. The customer could then redeem these points and save $1,000 on his next purchase from Computer Marketplace. The Broomall, Pa., company is using the Internet to promote its new program. ACCESS GRAPHICS EXPANDS LEGATO PRESENCE
Access Graphics has agreed to increase the number of authorized education centers and certified trainers for Legato Systems Inc. Legato, with headquarters in Palo Alto, Calif., makes network storage software products. Access currently operates three centers and has not decided how many it will add. Access is a subsidiary of Lockheed Martin Corp. of Bethesda, Md.

SOFTWARE AG ALLIANCE COULD NET $10 MILLION FOR AVATAR
Avatar Solutions Inc., Vienna, Va., has agreed to let Software AG enhance and remarket Avatar tools and services designed to detect two-digit date fields that could wreak havoc in the year 2000. The alliance, which will last for at least three years, is expected to generate more than $10 million in revenue for Avatar.

HUGHES NETWORK SYSTEMS GOES GREEK
Hughes Network Systems Inc., Germantown, Md., will distribute networking equipment for land-based systems in Greece through Space Hellas S.A. Space Hellas is among Greece's leading telecommunications equipment and services providers. It provides data, voice and image communications for the Greek armed forces, as well as commercial companies.

INTERGRAPH WEB SERVERS ON GSA SCHEDULE
ComPro Systems Inc., Jessup, Md., will sell Intergraph Corp.'s InterSolve line of World Wide Web servers through the GSA Schedule. The servers use the Windows NT operating system. Prices start at $6,921.

CITRIX INKS TWO DEALS
Citrix Systems Inc., Coral Springs, Fla., has signed an agreement with the Network Services division of CompuServe to remarket WinFrame/Enterprise multiuser application server software. CompuServe will include the product as part of its wide area network solution designed to connect customers to CompuServe's network. The company will market the package to Fortune 1000 customers.
In separate news, Citrix has signed a letter of intent with Telxon Corp. to embed its ICA distributed Windows protocol in all future versions of Telxon's ruggedized, pen-based computers.
