The board of directors of Booz-Allen & Hamilton in McLean, Va., has elected Lawrence T. Wright as senior vice president. He has been with the firm since 1988 and also serves as president of Booz - Allen & Hamilton's Canada Ltd. subsidiary. It also elected J.M. McConnell as vice president of the firm. As an officer in Booz - Allen's national security systems group, McConnell will support the firm's business in the areas of information security and information assurance.

Novell Inc. of Orem, Utah, named Dr. Glenn Ricart as chief technology officer. Ricart will guide Novell's overall technology development, research and advanced development, and participation in cooperative industry and research forums.

GETTING A WINDOW
Eastman Kodak Co.'s Commercial and Government Systems in Rochester, N.Y., announced that Robert J. Leonard has been named manager of imaging products and systems. Leonard started with Kodak in 1979 as a contract negotiator for Kodak's U.S. government contracts.

Julius E. Jones has joined Datatrac Financial Services in Fairfax, Va. as a research analyst and instructor in the areas of Federal IT resources acquisition, and management and IT contracting.

Pulsar Data Systems in Lanham, Md., announced three new appointments. Joseph E. Seaberry was appointed senior systems engineer of technology and will be responsible for integrating wide area networks. Thomas P. Cavanaugh was appointed systems administrator of the technology division. He is responsible for creating and administering local and wide area networks for clients. Francis L.M. King Jr. was appointed as pre-sales engineer. He will assist in transforming technology sales opportunities into projects.

William G. Fry has been appointed managing director of Spatial Data Institute in Bethesda, Md. Fry will be responsible for the day-to-day business operations of the organization and the management and execution of mapping and program management projects.

Orbital Sciences Corp., Dulles, Va., announced that veteran NASA astronaut G. David Low has joined the company as director of internal group operations in the Launch Systems Group. Low will be responsible for coordinating and upgrading consistent quality standards for engineering and operational practices within the group.

S.T. Research Corp., Newington, Va., announced that Thomas Bell has been designated as program manager for both the Advanced Submarine Tactical ESM Combat System and the Integrated Electronic Mast U.S. Navy submarine programs. Bell was previously with Westinghouse Electric Corp. in Baltimore.
