CONTRACTS

<B>NASA has awarded Boeing Commercial Airplane Group and McDonnell Douglas Aerospace a $440 million contract to develop technologies for a potential U.S. high-speed civil transport.</B><BR>Telos Corp. has been awarded a five-year, software services contract valued at $90 million by the U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command. The company also received a $10 million contract to supply portable data terminals to Computer Devices of Canada and an order for $6.6 million from Hughes Aircraft to supply computer equipment in support of the Navy's Integrated Undersea Surveillance System.

The U.S. Navy has awarded Raytheon's Missile Systems Division a contract valued at $43 million to supply 145 standard missiles.

American Management Systems, based in Fairfax, Va., was awarded a $20 million contract by Telia Mobitel, a Swedish cellular carrier, to develop a comprehensive customer care and billing system.

Biospherics Inc. has been awarded an expansion of its contract to operate the Federal Information Center for the General Services Administration. The new award is for $18.7 million and expires in 1998.

Syscon has been awarded a contract valued at $10.5 million to provide the Naval Air Systems Command with site management and hardware maintenance support for its Aviation Training Support System.

Anstec Inc. of Fairfax, Va., was awarded a $4.5 million contract from the Patent and Trademark Office for database services. The company was also awarded a three-year, $3.5 million contract from the U.S. National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute for mainframe computer and microcomputer applications development and systems support.
