Army developing contract for enterprise program management system

The Army begins the development of a contract for an enterprise-wide project and program management system.

The Army has begun work on a new contract for an enterprise-wide system to support project and program managers.

The Army’s Program Executive Office – Enterprise Information Systems issued the sources sought notice and described several objectives:

  • Establish a single service desk across programs
  • Centralize multi-cloud management
  • Total asset visibility and improved asset management
  • Increased warfighter self-service

Other objectives include enterprise reporting and accountability, common governance, reduced sustainment costs and improved compliance and auditability.

The Army also wants the solutions to be a commercial software as a service offering that is FedRAMP complaint. It will need to connect and integrate with current PEO EIS systems.

Other requirements include incident management, problem management, configuration and change management, reporting and dashboards, risk management, and other services.

The request for information was released Oct. 7 and responses are due Oct. 14. The posting on Beta.Sam.Gov doesn’t give an indication of the value of the potential contract.
