Accenture looks within to name federal design studio head

Find opportunities — and win them.

Accenture promotes one of its own to lead the firm's federal digital design studio.

Accenture has looked within its own ranks to appoint a leader for the federal component of its digital studio focused on design thinking projects for customers.

In a release Monday, the global consulting firm said Tim Irvine will lead the evolution of the Accenture Federal Digital Studio on efforts to design and deliver digital solutions to federal agencies.

The Washington, D.C.-based studio also houses additional service design methodologies, data science, rapid prototyping and emerging technology work that came to Accenture through its acquisition of Fjord six years ago.

Irvine was most recently head of design for Fjord’s North America region and joined after Accenture’s acquisition of Acquity Group in 2013, where he was chief experience officer.
