Alion adds Northrop vet Selbe

Alion Science and Technology has hired former Northrop Grumman executive and nearly two-decade government market veteran Katie Selbe as a senior vice president.

Selbe will hold the title of senior VP and general manager for Alion’s cyber network solutions group that supports defense and intelligence agencies, the company said Monday.

The group’s offerings encompass areas such as network engineering, cyber hardening, modeling and simulations, big data analysis, cloud architecture and integrated artificial intelligence.

Prior to Alion, Selbe was an operating unit director in Northrop’s cyber and intelligence mission solutions division within that company’s mission systems segment.

She also was an operating unit director in the command and control division that was part of Northrop’s former information systems sector.
