A-TEK board of directors adds Ballard

Government services company A-TEK adds long-time market veteran Jim Ballard to the board of directors.
Government IT and scientific services company A-TEK said Wednesday that nearly 45-year military and government market veteran Jim Ballard has joined its board of directors, effective immediately.
Ballard is currently chairman of the board for Preferred Systems Solutions, where he was CEO for one year up until January, when he handed the reins to former Parsons Corp. executive Randy Morgan.
He joins A-TEK’s board in the wake of the company’s acquisition of federal health care IT services firm Mackson Consulting that closed earlier this month.
