Navy awards $276M workforce development support contract
The Navy awards a $276.1 million contract for training and other related materials to support and further develop its acquisition workforce.
The Navy has awarded five companies positions on a contract with an estimated $276.1 million ceiling value to provide training and supplemental materials for the branch’s acquisition workers.
Companies on the potential two-year “Training and Development” contract will vie to help the Navy gain more knowledge of career path productivity and further inform its decision-making process with respect to the workforce, the branch said in a FedBizOpps notice Tuesday.
Navy officials also want to energize its acquisition workforce and foster more teamwork across that employee base, plus further the use of models and measures to acquire understanding of leadership decisions and environmental impacts.
Individual awardee will compete for a different ceiling value as follows:
- Accenture: $68.4 million
- Booz Allen Hamilton: $74.2 million
- Deloitte: $64.4 million
- Cape Fox Corp.: $74.5 million
- Universal Consulting Service Inc.: $70.9 million
Cape Fox is an 8(a) small business owned by an Alaska Native Corporation and UCS graduated from that 8(a) status in 2015.
