General Dynamics books $155M F-35 program office IT order

General Dynamics' IT services arm takes a $155 million task order to support the F-35 Joint Program Office's technology environment.

General Dynamics’ IT services business has won a potential five-year, $155.6 million task order for cybersecurity and other related technology support work to the Defense Department program office overseeing the F-35 fighter jet.

Awarded by the Navy against the Alliant contract, the order covers information assurance, cyber and other IT services to the F-35 Joint Program Office’s virtual enterprise network.

Work will take place over a two-year base period and up to three individual option years, GDIT said Thursday.

Services will include program management, enterprise performance management, enterprise architecture, implementation of emerging capabilities and requirements, life cycle management, operations & maintenance, enterprise data management, service desk support and IT training.
