Booz Allen hires new M&A, investment lead

Booz Allen Hamilton names John Noh to oversee the firm's M&A and investment strategy.

Booz Allen Hamilton said Friday it has hired John Noh, a former investment banker and capital market executive at other contractors, as vice president of corporate development.

Noh will oversee the government services provider’s merger-and-acquisition program, alternative investment and partnership efforts.

He joins Booz Allen with experience in leading capital market activities at contractors like CACI International and Cubic Corp., plus as an investment banker at Houlihan Lokey, Jones Lang LaSalle and Bank of America.

Booz Allen’s M&A activity has largely been outside the realm of large transformative moves to add scale and instead on deals of the tuck-in, capability variety. The firm’s deals under the latter category in recent years have included the additions of agile software developer SPARC, digital services firm Aquilent and commercial cyber outfit Morphick.
